Hi, starting time if all I'm all new to Kodi and just starting off.

4K Kodi Playback on Minix Neo U1
I wonder if anyone can assist me considering I'm at my wit's finish here! I've had the U1 for a couple of years now and everything has worked fine EXCEPT for streaming any 4k content from Kodi. Last week I upgraded my broadband to 100mb with Virgin in the promise of solving this issue but it hasn't. 4k content still buffers/pauses and struggles to play. Does anyone have whatsoever solutions please?! Information technology would be very much appreciated! TIA 
Load Github using Tv set Addons - volition not install
I have followed the instructions to add Indigo in TVA, but when I then endeavor to download the Git Browser nether Addons - Services, I click the Install push button in the pop upwards window 'Addon Information', & Git Browser momentarily says 'Downloading 0%', & and then it simply stops downloading.
Have cleared enshroud etc, with the same result.
Any thoughts on how I tin install Git Browser to Minix X8-H in TV Addons ?

Withal, I am non sure if I should buy the U1 or the U9.
The no.1 duty for the box would be a media player.
I'd run it through my receiver (for HD audio pass-through) to my 4K TV (non HDR btw).
On the Libreelec forums people always advice to choose a 905x CPU over the 912 (which is used in the U9).

I recently tried KODI v17.6 on my U1 and information technology does not find all the shared folders I accept on my Windows vii PC. The v16.3 XBMC past Minix has no bug. I have (6) 6TB HDDs in a single PC and each HDD has a shared folder (labeled "Movies 1", "Movies 2", etc.) and each movies folder has sub folders A-Z. Kodi doesn't come across all picture folders and doesn't evidence all sub folders either. It doesn't even show all videos in the folders information technology does testify. I accept same problem with Samsung TV in spare bedroom....

I currently have a WD Television receiver Live which works great, notwithstanding it is getting on in years.

I remember this might exist a Minix issue as the movies play perfectly on my Mac Mini using Kodi 17.6.
Issue:
Kodi works perfectly for 90% of my movies, I've come across a few movies that wont play correctly.
These movies will start playing and and then freeze, become out of sync or stutter at a random point through the picture.
However, if y'all press "skip" even one time information technology will cause the above mentioned issues instantly.
I'thou not using other devices on the output, merely take the HDMI output going into the TV....

for years I am streaming with a minix box, first i had x8 plus version. Because it runs kn an old Android 4.1 version. It still works minimally, limited streams and Alkmaar no new movies.
